16-oz Mug
This is a ceramic mug, thrown on the wheel with light brown clay. Once it has been formed and trimmed, it is first fired to 1800 degrees F and then cooled to room temperature, after which a white glaze is applied to the inside and about half-way down the exterior surface. It is then fired again to 2200 degrees F, which vitrifies the clay and hardens the glaze.
This mug measures 4 inches wide, 4 ¼ inches tall, and has a 16-oz capacity.
Each piece is hand-made and glazed, making each one unique. No two pieces will be exactly alike.
This piece has been tested for food safety.
